ACCOMMODATION FOR FLYING STUDENTS IN MELBOURNE

If you would like us to assist with accommodation we can arrange a Homestay for you. We find that this is the best way for new overseas students to settle in to life in Australia and to their aviation studies.

A Homestay means that you stay with a local family who provide you with your own room, meals and laundry. The cost of Homestay Accommodation is AUD$200 - 220 per week which is the standard rate around Melbourne for this service.

Many of our students decide that Homestay accommodation suits them and decide to stay with their host family for the duration of their stay. Other students use this as a start and make other arrangements once they have settled in. In all cases where an overseas student has wanted to enter into share accommodation, they have been able to organise this within the first couple of weeks of the course, usually with other students at the college.

As a guide, you will need AUD$300-$350/week to cover rent, food, transport, entertainment etc.
