Can I work in Australia?

On a student visa you can work up to 20 hours per week. This can be arranged once you commence your course by completing an application form and paying a $50 application fee to the Department of Immigration.

Do not expect to come to Australia and earn enough to pay for your course. You will only earn enough to help subsidise your living expenses.

The average pay for a casual worker is $10-15/hour.

We cannot arrange work for you. All of our students who wish to work have been able to find part time jobs.
