FAQ

Do I need to do my aviation medical examination before coming to Australia? Where can I do it?

It is best to complete your aviation medical before departure if there is an approved medical examiner in your area. If there isn't an examiner nearby you can do the aviation medical after your arrival in Australia.

There are a number of Doctors around the world who are approved to conduct the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) medical examination.

Please note: as part of your student visa application you will need to undertake a general medical examination. This is separate to the aviation medical.
