Can I do an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) at ANAC?
In order to be granted an ATPL you must pass the ATPL theory exam and have 1500 hours flying experience, an instrument rating and 100 hours night flying. By the end of your course you will have approximately 220 hours (depending on the course you choose). The only way to then build the hours is to get a job.
At the time of writing ANAC had temporarily ceased offering ATPL theory courses.
In some cases the ATPL is not a necessity and it may be of no advantage to you to have Australian ATPL theory in your country. Ask your local airlines and aviation authorities for their advice.
