The multi-engine endorsement is one more step on the
way to a career in aviation. As the flying of a Multi-Engine aircraft
involves a much faster, heavier and complex aircraft, the average pilot
may for the first time be confronted by new features eg: a retractable
undercarriage, a constant speed unit, complex fuel system, not to
mention the characteristics of asymmetric flight. Once you have
completed your initial multi-engine rating, further multi-engine
aircraft types only require a quick conversion. The 50 hours
pilot-in-command time you will complete will enhance your employment
opportunities in the aviation industry.
Course
The multi-engine rating consists of approximately 7
hours dual instruction time. As well as the practical flight training,
you will receive comprehensive ground briefings on all the aspects of
multi-engine flight. Included is a 1 hour flight test with our in-house
testing officer. After your training, you will fly the aircraft as
pilot-in-command for 50 hours.
