There are many different flying jobs however the vast majority of people who train with us are hoping to work for an Airline. Each airline around the world may have slightly different entry requirements however the common requirements are:
Our Pilot school Australia provides the Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot License) and Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) which include these qualifications. Therefore these are the courses of choice for most of our students. For most countries the 208 hour Diploma of Aviation with Multi Engine Instrument Rating program (which includes 70 hours pilot in command/solo) is sufficient to meet your requirements.
With these qualifications you will be in a position to make application to your local airline to be taken on by them and trained in the aircraft type they wish you to fly.
If you have any specific requirements that do not appear to be met by our courses, please let us know what they are and we will design a course that meets your needs.
If you are learning to fly as a hobby rather than a career then you only need to undertake the Private Pilot Licence course. This licence allows you to fly with passengers anywhere in Australia (or worldwide once you do the local conversion). The main difference between a Private Licence and a Commercial Licence is that with a Commercial Licence you may fly for hire or reward (i.e get paid) whilst a Private Pilot Licence holder may not.
